Hello! My name is Della Alcorn. I'm a wife and mother who has spent the last 30 years traveling America as my husband's job moved us around. Through it all, I have maintained my love for music and for the Lord, and have endeavored to stay involved in church music and christian school music programs.

Professional

Experience

I am the owner/proprietor of Praise Piano serving the Anchorage, Alaska area. I have been a church pianist since 1973 accompanying choirs and congregations in California, Utah, Colorado, Virginia, and Alaska. I have also accompanied several school choirs and given private piano lessons for over 20 years in those states.

Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Music from Utah State University and am certified to teach Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have also taken graduate classes in music theory and improvisation at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
